Darling Dovecote is a place to keep all my secret ideas and visual treasures. It is a place for me to make lists and share my project-y dreams. It is my color therapy and a record of my life (mostly the shiny, dreamy, lovely parts). I feel ever so much better now that all my ponder-ings and longings are recorded in one place where they won’t be lost or forgotten. I hope this little collection of thoughts might someday inspire others to dream and create and sometimes, simply make do.
Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread these cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
