 To celebrate my 15th cancer free anniversary on Valentine’s Day Darling and I are doing a three day juice cleanse. I have been wanting to do a detox since I went off my meds for Lyme/Bartonella. I am pretty excited because the last time Darling and Sacha had to do a 5 day by themselves [...] I just picked these up from the library. Have you read any of these? For the last six months or so I have written down all of our monthly expenditures into categories. This is my little book where I keep track of it all. It has definitely helped me to get on top of where we have been over spending. Mostly, the grocery. All those little [...] Here are the finds. This is the second best rummage sale of the year. It happens the first Sat of December every year. I found a set of hardback Louisa May Alcott books in perfect condition for $10 (my blog is named darling dovecote because I loved it in the book Little Women when [...] This one This one *** This one *** This one This one *** OK off to tackle Laundry Mountain now! [...] I love this shabby chic book. I find her rooms so peaceful and calming. It was after I read this book last week that I moved all the black stuff in the house to the basement. Bright Star is my new inspiration movie. Not really new…but I just bought myself a copy since Netflix [...] Beautiful new books for Mila! Thank you! It was good. Care, you were right! I couldn’t believe how much like “The Likeness” it was! The characters were so similar! I am really into these stories with a Gothic feeling right now. Any other suggestions? Some reading happened last week while I was sick. Love the UK Magazine Mollie Makes. Would love a subscription but it is VERY expensive since it is an import…It is all about modern crafting. Dottie Angel was in the first issue. Super fun/pretty mag. I think it is my new favorite! The Likeness [...] 1. I ordered new yarn for the big blankie from Jo Ann Fabrics.
