Campers…

How cute is that?  It was on local Craig’s List.  It sold for about $1,500.

Lucy at Attic24 has a camper that she is making cozy.  Look at that book…”My Cool Caravan”  LOVE it!

Dottie Angel has an Airstream that she uses as studio space.  I have always LOVED Airstreams.

Trouble is that even before we think about getting a camper we need our “country house.”  We can’t even park a camper in this neighborhood.

I am ready for our “country house”…but first we need to pay off the adoption/get our financial duckies in a row…maybe the housing market will come back a bit in that time?  I hope we will be able to afford our “country house” here in MD.  We want to downsize from this house (get a cute old fixer-upper with good bones) but have more land.  We talk about it all the time!  The boys want a big barn/garage and big skate ramp and a farm truck and DIRT BIKES (oh no!).  I want chickens and a camper to take on mini-vacations and a laundry line that I don’t have to sneak.  Maybe in 2 years?  That isn’t so long, right?  We could do it?  Right?

I nearly cry every time I look at it.  It really speaks to me!  I know that seems funny but it is so true.
