I am so excited that we have finally begun this project! We have lived in this house for almost six years now and I have always wanted to paint the cabinets. In fact, in both of our previous homes I wanted to paint the wood cabinets white as well…but we were never able to make [...] I brought this plant stand back up from the basement. I replanted the hanging geraniums from the porch and brought them on for the winter. Darling helped repaint with me. The door is white again. The mirror on the right is done in razzle dazzle pink by Benjamin Moore. The mirror back [...] I love this shabby chic book. I find her rooms so peaceful and calming. It was after I read this book last week that I moved all the black stuff in the house to the basement. Bright Star is my new inspiration movie. Not really new…but I just bought myself a copy since Netflix [...] Remember my table project? Before: After: I LOVE it! I can’t wait until the slips are done! We had a letter from the Association that we had to replace a missing light on our garage in the back alley. The giant, horrible brass light (that Darling hated) mysteriously disappeared a while ago and never got replaced. So we switched one of the small brass lights from the house to that spot and [...] I kept forgetting to take a pic of these! I know it is probably weird to get excited about towels…but I do LOVE these. I purchased these from Homegoods with a credit (I have bought and returned items on this same $20 credit about 3 times before being happy with my purchase!). They are [...] I know it is a little bit weird. That is why we liked it (Darling came with garage sale-ing last Sat, so fun!). It is an aluminum table base for $10. We have been looking for a large outside table for the back yard. I think it is 60′s? It is kind of Seussical [...] Can you believe it? I finally started! Holy cow, I have talking about this for ages! This Ikea table is great for project-ing! There is lots of light in the front room to sew by. I learned to make piping today! My Bernette has a zipper foot! YAY! It is my one extra [...] My niece just left two days ago (we miss Sacha already) and I feeling better than I have felt in years. Literally. I finished my antibiotic last Sat. The last couple of weeks have been Lyme Disease symptom free. It is fabulous! So…I am getting back on track with projects etc. Darling sprayed these [...] |
