 This was my dear friend Heather’s Nana’s dish. I use it every year at Christmas time. I wonder if it is a pomander dish (is there such a thing?)? I use it for my clove oranges every year. Nothing says Christmas to me like clove oranges. More Christmas on a budget ideas coming soon… [...] Emmie and Gavin were here for Thanksgiving. It was so nice I had to clean up my slipcover sewing station so we could use this table. I had the ironing board set up in the dinning room for the last 3 months or so. Wow. Hmmm….I have got to get those [...] Ohhhhhh… Aren’t these beautiful? I want to make these and hang these for the holidays…in these colors! So pretty… I forgot…pics are from Little Woollie blog. This is my Christmas wrap inspiration for this year. John Keats Curious George Miles was/is still sick I have always wanted some of these candles to put in the windows. Every year I look for them in November/December and they are sold out. These are battery LEDs on a timer with a silver base and not too cheap-ie looking. This year I happened on them yesterday (Oct 5th) as I was [...] Liam asked me why we didn’t decorate the porch for the holidays and said he would like it if we did that…so I went to Micheal’s and bought some pretty fall garland and a wreath (all 50% off or more right now) and a couple of mums from Home Depot. [...] Easter flowers from Grams! Thank you so much, Grams! I cried when I opened the door and the flower man handed them to me. What a wonderful surprise I put them on the mantle. They still look fabulous! This was the moment when Mila realized there was candy in the plastic eggs! It was soooooooooooooo cute! Miles’ airsoft (bebe type) gun….oh dear! Liam with his nerf gun.
