 Here are the finds. This is the second best rummage sale of the year. It happens the first Sat of December every year. I found a set of hardback Louisa May Alcott books in perfect condition for $10 (my blog is named darling dovecote because I loved it in the book Little Women when [...] John Keats Curious George Miles was/is still sick Liam asked me why we didn’t decorate the porch for the holidays and said he would like it if we did that…so I went to Micheal’s and bought some pretty fall garland and a wreath (all 50% off or more right now) and a couple of mums from Home Depot. [...] Kokeshi (Japanese dolls) nesting dolls from ebay erasers from ebay bento box from ebay doll doll beads reusable snack bag from etsy stuffed doll from etsy [...] Liam and I were very busy with his Harry Potter birthday. We made pumpkin pasties, butter beer, cauldron cakes, chocolate frogs, etc. It was so fun. The kids all decorated a chopstick wand and made glitter-food coloring potions. It was so fun. [...] + The swimming hole at Loy’s Station is so very pretty. [...] Miles is taller than I am now. We had to run out to Target like an hour before the performance last night because he had NO clothes that fit. Like none. Miles is ruining my clothes on a schedule idea. He has changed pants sizes like 3 times since Christmas. I can barely keep [...] This is what nap time looks like for me today. Hooorraaayyyy!!!!!!! The big blankie is back on track. I received my yarn yesterday. I LOVE receiving good things in the mail. This is a new chocolate E introduced me to. Dark chocolate with sea salt. Yum. Tastes like eating cookie dough or something. [...] This was the moment when Mila realized there was candy in the plastic eggs! It was soooooooooooooo cute! Miles’ airsoft (bebe type) gun….oh dear! Liam with his nerf gun. Guns for Easter? Yes it is terrible! I thought so too. PS I have to take a pic of the [...] After months and months of doctors visits, Liam was diagnosed with Lyme disease yesterday. In a lot of ways it is a huge relief to finally know what has been making him sick for the last 8 mos. AND to finally be able to help him feel better. I would not have been able to [...] |
