After months and months of doctors visits, Liam was diagnosed with Lyme disease yesterday.

In a lot of ways it is a huge relief to finally know what has been making him sick for the last 8 mos. AND to finally be able to help him feel better. I would not have been able to [...]

Last Weekend

Last week I began washing all the winter clothes/sheets/coats/hats etc and storing them for next winter. I unpacked the summer clothes and pool towels

This led to weeding out clothes that are too small for the kids.

Which led to cleaning out the boys’ closet.

Which led to moving furniture down to the basement.

We got snacks at the Ghiradelli cafe…yum.

Liam built this crazy thing by himself! It took him all day. He was so proud!

Collecting change for our FL trip.

I LOVE Liam’s outfit! He wears this Chinese scarf all the time.

My niece, Sacha and Mila. The kids really miss her already.

I am extremely concerned with the amount of homework Miles has. He is in 6th grade. Homeschooling again is looking more and more attractive.

There will be a screening of this documentary on January 12th at the Bethesda Row Cinemas at 7pm.

But she eventually settled down (a tiny bit)…

It is official. Mila Bella Mi-Jin Ellis is legally our daughter, forever.

I can not even begin to express how happy I am. It was exactly three years ago that we started visiting adoption agencies. More than [...]
