 Mila’s 3T fall clothes collection is growing. Most of this has been thrifted or bought at garage sales. I purchased a few super end of winter season items from Naartjie and Gymboree (my limit per item is about $7 for new…unless I absolutely have to have it. Like the iris petti-skirt. I frequently see things I like but not in the right size or things that need to be modernized a bit. And so I have had a hard time thrifting for clothes for myself. I am going [...] Last weekend’s thrifting. St Ignatius had their sale starting Fri (it is almost all junk). I purchased the purple tin and vintage glass pitcher. total spent there was $1.50. Oh wait the kids picked out a couple things for another 50 cents. So total was $2. I went to the Gaithersburg outdoor flea market [...] That kitty pillow is for Liam. But honestly, there is nothing here that I am super excited about. A vintage baby/doll dress for Mila’s babies (5o cents). Some unusual items for Mila’s dress up box. Isn’t that embroidered one unusual? I brought a small cedar chest up from the basement to start [...] A pink rocker for Mila’s dolls. A blanket that looks like a vintage hankie (I adore this blanket and it cleaned up so nicely…yay oxi-clean! I think I am going to use it in the living room for a couch throw). A pretty pink and blue table cloth and a pretty hankie. Total [...] Sorry for the poor picture quality. I took these last night. See the blue bead choker? I have been looking for one like that for a long time. It cost 50 cents! Can you see this shirt? It has little blue birds on it. I love it. It is actually too small [...] Thrifting from last weekend. And the totswap and Lucy’s. Mila needed a coat and sweaters and snow boots (just in case we have a winter like we did last year). I am still looking for a hat/mittens and she needs more pants in 18 mos. For the boyss. The Pearl drum was only [...] First, a few random things… 1. Not sure if I am liking the “no-shampoo” baking soda instead thing. I have been doing it for 8 days and maybe I have not really given it a proper chance yet (I am sure I could adjust the amount of baking soda vs. vinegar wash a billion times [...] I don’;t know if these glasses are old or not? I would like to think that they are. You can see a few tiny bubbles in the glass which makes me think they are old? They are purple and sort of iridescent. So pretty, they needed a new home with me. They are such an [...] Westmister Goodwill to be exact. Not super fabulous…but I did find this dress: It is 60′s, right? Will it look crazy fabulous with this hair for Halloween? Then I can sell it in my etsy shop. I am ordering business cards this weekend so I can reopen my etsy shop! Exciting! And I [...] |
