 I know it is a little bit weird. That is why we liked it (Darling came with garage sale-ing last Sat, so fun!). It is an aluminum table base for $10. We have been looking for a large outside table for the back yard. I think it is 60′s? It is kind of Seussical [...] Mila already has this Gap coat in a 2T. I bought it used from ebay (they go for close to $20!) I LOVE this coat. I love the colors. I LOVE a Fair Isle pattern! And it was $5 at the thrift shop in Mt Airy for this 4T so I got it. The [...] Last weekend’s thrifting. St Ignatius had their sale starting Fri (it is almost all junk). I purchased the purple tin and vintage glass pitcher. total spent there was $1.50. Oh wait the kids picked out a couple things for another 50 cents. So total was $2. I went to the Gaithersburg outdoor flea market [...] I went down to the Rummage Sale at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church on Rt 28 in North Potomac. They advertised this one as a yard sale so it was difficult to figure out what time it started. (7am). I got there at 8am…it was really bad. There were a few cute clothes [...] I am into spray painting cheap finds. Getting rid of black in the house. From my garden. E and I went to the Luckets’ flea last Sat. This is what I got. Chocolate cake happiness. New work shoes (slippers). Pretty new jammies. Nigella’s sunblush [...] Yes, it is that time of year again… Saturday was St Mark Presbyterian Church 10701 Old Goergetown Rd. It was bad. I had been to this one once before (years ago) and it was bad then as well. I came away with a 50 cent broken pitcher. It is a fairly small area and the [...] Last week was St Peters Episcopal rummage sale in Poolesville. Starts on a Thurs night which was kind of nice (April 7, 8 and 9). Mila and I were waiting in line to get in at 5pm. People actually ran when the tape was lifted. It was a bit weird. It was a fairly quick [...] I dragged E and the kids down to the Branockburn Nursery School (in Bethesda) rummage sale yesterday am. It was advertised on Craig’s List for more than 6 months. I was really excited to go, it sounded really good and really big! What a disappointment I won’t be going back to this one. It was [...] That kitty pillow is for Liam. But honestly, there is nothing here that I am super excited about. A vintage baby/doll dress for Mila’s babies (5o cents). Some unusual items for Mila’s dress up box. Isn’t that embroidered one unusual? I brought a small cedar chest up from the basement to start [...] A pink rocker for Mila’s dolls. A blanket that looks like a vintage hankie (I adore this blanket and it cleaned up so nicely…yay oxi-clean! I think I am going to use it in the living room for a couch throw).
